CASE STUDY:

Sydney Japanese School

The Sydney Japanese International School is a bilingual, non-denominational and co-educational school for children through to Year 6 in the International Division, and up to Year 9 in the Japanese Division. The school is located in Terry Hills on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

MyDiary wanted to capitalise on the school's unique approach of "Two Curriculums. One School", so we really enjoyed embellishing the diary with Japanese-inspired designs and patterns. This was their first student diary ever, and we felt honoured to bring a time-management tool to students that reflected the school’s branding and mission:

“By combining two cultures on an international campus, we aim to develop our students to become a 'kakehashi' (bridge) who will become mindful leaders of the future.”

Happy New Year!  The student diaries have just been distributed to our families and they are an absolute hit!  Thank you for your expert guidance and assistance in creating our first ever school student diary.

The diary is such a success that the Japanese Division of our school is now interested in creating a student diary.

Simon Van Dinter, Deputy Principal (International Division)
