About MyDiary
What is MyDiary?
MyDiary designs and produces high-quality student diaries for Australian primary and secondary schools. Our diaries support organisation, wellbeing, values education and strong school–home communication. With over 26 years of experience, you can trust us to provide reliable guidance and support for all your diary needs.
Who are MyDiary diaries designed for?
Our diaries are designed for students across primary and secondary year levels. Each diary is tailored to be age-appropriate and aligned with the needs of schools, students and families.
Are your diaries aligned with wellbeing and values education?
Yes. Our diaries are thoughtfully designed to support student wellbeing, positive habits, responsibility and character development. Many diaries include age-appropriate wellbeing themes, reflection prompts and practical activities.
Customisation & Content
Can we customise our school diary?
Absolutely. Schools can fully customise their diary, including the date section, school logo, colours, policies, important dates, contact details and other school-specific information.
Can we include our own content or policies?
Yes. Schools can supply their own content, including policies, student expectations, wellbeing frameworks, faith-based content, or other important information.
Check List for School Pages Guide
Do you provide help with wording or layout?
Yes. Our team can assist with refining wording, layout suggestions, and ensuring content is clear and age-appropriate.
Can content change from year to year?
Yes. Diaries can be updated annually to reflect new policies, themes, leadership teams, or other important school information.
Do you have any ready-to-go diary options available?
Yes. We offer ready‑to‑go diary options that are budget‑friendly and easy to order. These come with a pre‑printed date section, so you don’t need to customise every page — perfect for schools looking for a convenient and cost‑effective solution.
You can choose from a range of designs for student and teacher planners. These designs include popular layouts and content that have been trialled and tested by schools and you have the option to personalise the cover and school pages with your information and branding.
Ready-to-Go vs Custom Diaries: Ready-to-Go diaries are ideal for schools seeking a convenient, cost-effective solution, while Custom Diaries give full flexibility to reflect your school’s branding, policies and unique needs.
Can we add accessories to our diaries?
Yes. We offer a full range of optional accessories to enhance usability and student engagement, including, ribbons, bookmarks and tabs for ease of navigation, plastic pockets to store timetables or other important information, term and wellbeing stickers, smudge free whiteboards, traffic light cards for discreet signalling of assistance, file connectors, dust covers, PVC covers and more.

What is the best diary size?
Our most popular size is B5, as it offers the ideal balance between usability and portability. It provides ample space for daily planning and notes, while still fitting comfortably into school bags.
If you’re looking for a more compact option, our A5 diary is smaller, lightweight and easy for students to manage. Schools can also choose a larger aB5 or A4 size if additional space is required for planning, wellbeing activities, or extended notes.
Ordering & Agreements
How do we place an order?
New schools: Complete our contact form and our team will provide a quote for approval.
Returning schools: Email your reorder form to sales@mydiary.com.au or use our quick order confirmation form.
More details, see our How to Order guide.
What is the best process and timeline for ordering?
Term 2: Discuss your diary requirements and place your order. This is also the time for design and creative planning. If you are unsure on the final quantity or other details this can be updated later when the diary goes to print.
Term 3: Finalise details and provide any school policy updates to ensure your diary content is up to date.
Do you offer multi-year agreements?
Yes. Many schools choose to enter into a multi-year agreement, which offers capped, discounted diary pricing and allows us to secure stock for the full term. This ensures your quoted diary price is locked in and protected from annual inflation or unexpected cost increases.
A multi-year agreement also provides peace of mind, with predictable budgeting, pricing certainty from year to year and no surprise price rises during the agreement period.
Can we order diaries for just one year?
Yes. Schools can purchase diaries on a one-year basis without entering into a multi-year agreement.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantities may apply depending on the diary type and specifications. Our team can advise based on your school’s needs.
Proofing & Approvals
Will we receive a proof before printing?
Yes. Schools receive a digital proof to review and approve before printing. This is your opportunity to carefully check all content, dates, spelling and formatting.
We typically allow for up to three rounds of proofs to ensure you are completely happy with your diary before it goes to print. Our team will work closely with you during the proofing stage to refine any required changes and help ensure the final version meets your expectations.
What happens once we approve the proof?
Once the signed print approval form is received, files are prepared and sent to print.
Can we make changes after approving the proof?
Changes after print approval are sometimes possible if printing has not yet commenced, however fees apply and delivery timelines may be impacted.
Printing & Delivery
Where are the diaries printed?
Our diaries are printed by trusted printing partners who are committed to ensuring the highest quality, reliability and durability.
When will our diaries be delivered?
Delivery timelines depend on your preferred delivery window — either at the end of Term 4, or in January/February before or after the commencement of the new school year — as well as your school’s location. Estimated delivery timeframes can be confirmed during the ordering process.
Are deliveries made during school holidays?
Yes, diaries can be delivered during school holidays if the school is able to accept deliveries. We recommend providing clear delivery instructions and contact details to ensure delivery can be completed smoothly. Please note that re-delivery attempts may attract additional fees.
Can diaries be delivered to multiple campuses?
Yes, multi-campus deliveries can be arranged. Additional delivery costs may apply.
Digital & Additional Resources
Do you offer digital diaries?
At this time, we do not provide an online diary. Our focus is on printed diaries because we strongly believe they:
Encourage students to disconnect from screens and focus on reflection and organisation
Support better retention and memory through writing by hand
Foster daily routines and responsibility in a tangible way
Can be easily shared with parents and teachers without technology barriers
Serve as an offline tool, away from digital distractions
Our printed diaries remain a practical, engaging, and effective tool to support student wellbeing, learning, and organisation.
Do you offer any digital resources?
Yes. Some schools receive access to digital resources or handbooks (PDF copy of their diary), depending on their agreement or purchase options.
Do you have a Wellbeing Program?
Yes. We offer a flexible online and offline Wellbeing Program aligned to the Life360 student diary. The program is self-paced with tailored versions for both students and staff, allowing schools to deliver content suited to their unique needs.
Key features include:
Available as both a downloadable PDF and an online course
Editable student worksheets and interactive content
