MyDiary’s long-standing partnership with Magdalene Catholic College has been shaped by a shared commitment to student growth and wellbeing. As the college’s needs evolved, we worked collaboratively to create a diary that goes beyond simple planning — transforming it into an interactive student development tool. In 2023, Magdalene transitioned from using separate junior and senior diaries to a single, unified B5 format across all year levels. This shift ensured consistency, reduced complexity, and strengthened their whole-school approach. Each iteration of the diary has been guided by the school’s strategic focus on student mindset, leadership, resilience and academic achievement — with MyDiary adapting in step.
Daily Diary Layout
The diary is structured around four core themes — one per term — each reinforcing key learning and wellbeing priorities:

Term 3: Leadership
Term 4: Wellbeing & Resilience
These themes are supported through custom-written content, student activities, reflective questions, motivational quotes, and mindfulness elements like colouring-in sections — designed to prompt meaningful engagement and personal growth.
The diary also includes practical tools to support daily organisation: a student timetable, subject and teacher contact tables and a dedicated staff directory with names, roles and emails for easy reference.
Extras
To ensure students have access to practical and up-to-date contact information, our designers provided tables for students to record their subjects, teacher contact details and a separate staff directory listing staff names, roles and email addresses.
