YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH

James Sheahan Catholic High School

Orange, NSW

As James Sheahan Catholic High School’s needs changed, MyDiary partnered with the school to reimagine their student resource — moving from a traditional diary to a streamlined, custom handbook.
The new format is lighter, easier to navigate, and more cost-effective, while still supporting student organisation and clarity. This shift highlights MyDiary’s commitment to delivering tailored solutions that evolve with schools and focus on what matters most: functionality, simplicity, and supporting students with practical tools that reflect the school’s identity and daily needs.

Now in a 24-page format, the James Sheahan handbook retains all the core content students and families rely on: key contacts, bell times, house and pastoral information, prayers, enrolment agreements, policies, merit systems, uniform guidelines, and school maps. Every element is designed to be accessible and easy to reference. The shift to a concise handbook was made in close collaboration with the school, ensuring nothing essential was lost. The result: a compact, purposeful resource that supports both organisation and communication — all while reducing bulk and production costs.

Cover

The cover reflects James Sheahan’s request for a classic, corporate-style finish — clean, understated, and professional. Their four values — Courage, Compassion, Hope, and Belonging — are featured prominently on the front, with a subtle banner on the back tying the design together. The result is a timeless, functional look that reinforces the school’s ethos without unnecessary embellishment — a perfect match for the practical and focused nature of the handbook.
