Browns Plains State High School is a government high school located in Queensland. They take great pride in their reputation as being a respected leader of learning. Working with their strategic vision, MyDiary designed its school diaries to support its Attitude to Learning (ATL) Framework and continue to develop its cultural aims of “Diligence and Integrity”.

MyDiary developed a bespoke diary layout that included key wellbeing activities each week that reinforced the key message for students to connect, succeed and thrive.

We then empowered Browns Plains SHS to deliver this programme collaboratively through their highly committed and talented team of teachers.

MyDiary designed the staff planner to reflect the weekly aims of the student diary enabling teachers to reinforce the message each week in lessons.
​
In this way, MyDiary supported Browns Plains SHS to not only optimise well-being and learning but also drive the constant pursuit of academic excellence.

School Pages
MyDiary invested significant design time in a number of the school policy pages to ensure the information was not only clear to read but also attractive.

We remastered their Respectful and Responsible Classrooms and to assist students to measure their ATL score MyDiary incorporated the evaluation prompt in their term reflection and goal-setting pages.
Daily Diary Section
MyDiary created a bespoke layout that provided the wellbeing focus and the supporting activity and study focus. In addition to this, we included ATL, attendance record-keeping and some AEIOU reflection prompts.

Whiteboard Inserts
We incorporated more learning accessories for Browns Plains, such as our whiteboard insert. This insert acts exactly like a whiteboard so students can easily write on and wipe off text - an invaluable tool for in-class activities.
Traffic Light Card Inserts
This popular insert allows students to fold over their diary to either a red, amber or green coloured card to indicate to the teacher what level of assistance they require.
Wellbeing Resources
Browns Plains SHS utilised some of our pre-designed wellbeing resources to communicate the value of having a Growth Mindset. MyDiary has over two hundred of these resources that schools can select from at no cost.
