Freshwater Christian College, Brinsmead QLD
Freshwater Christian College is a private Christian school located in the suburb of Brinsmead, in Cairns, in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Freshwater’s mission, "Life, Love, Learn", focuses on creating inspirational and holistic learning environments.
The result was a bright and high-quality diary design, developed with a Christian perspective infused with biblical virtues and godly wisdom.
School Policy Pages
We enhanced the design of their school pages to present the three college houses and correctly explain the acceptable and unacceptable shoes.
Daily Diary Section
In their weekly date section, Freshwater Christian College wanted their primary campus to have more structure, so we included a weekly check-in that measured spelling, maths, behaviour, and memory verse alongside a Teacher/Guardian signature box.
It was important to Freshwater to provide the context and conditions for each child to flourish, both spiritually, academically and socially. To support this aim, MyDiary utilised the right-hand side of each week to promote Daily Devotion as well as a focus on cognitive verbs.
MyDiary recreated all fifty of the top cognitive verbs as recognised by the Australian Curriculum and showcased one each week.
